To prepare for our walk across Ireland, Corinne and I have been focusing on our diet and nutrition.

For many people, eating healthy can feel like a chore. With easy accessibility to delicious pizza, pastas and cake, why would anyone want to eat healthy right?

Smoothies are a great way to make healthy eating a lot easier and more convenient.

If you are like me, you have a busy life. Try making a smoothie in the morning before starting your day. Not only is it a healthy choice, but it also will help with  your energy throughout the day.

Here is one of my favourite green smoothie recipes;

Ingredients Needed

  • banana – make sure you’re using a frozen banana for a refreshing smoothie!
  • protein powder – my favourite protein powder is NeoraFit Plant Based Protein Powder.
  • milk – I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk but any milk works!
  • baby spinach
  • chia seeds – adds healthy fat and fiber to the smoothie.
